In his novel it seems that he is descibing what life is today: confusing, and seperation of the classes because of money. Kourtney: The novel was interesting. Nick was kind of the outcast and helpless observer throughout the novel, as everyone else was rich and there was a number of love affairs around him. Sunny: I thought The Great Gatsby was descibing what the American dream is supposed to be. Gatsby's unlikely demise kind of suprised me, but at least he does not have to live without Daisy.
